This tiny shell was found on an Oregon Beach a few years back. It was the first time I was significantly blown away at the iPhone’s ability to take incredible photos. This shell is about the size of my fingernail. And yet, the photo captures the light, the grains of sand, and the contours of the shell nearly perfectly on zoom. I thought it was a sweet photo: a tiny shell on the simple sand, washed ashore for me to see.
