My real name is Shelly. I am a middle-aged woman who raised a son on her own, started her own business, put herself through nursing school at the age of 35, moved to the Rocky Mountains at 47, and started graduate school at 50. I am an adventurer, cancer nurse, writer, educator, survivor, and a semi-social introvert (there is such a thing). I have a very small nuclear family due to tragedy and loss…and hold close the ones I still have. I have a beautiful dog, named Sadie, who tolerates me. I find joy and happiness in very simple things.
I am here for you. However, I am also here for me.
